Make
your presentation fun and interactive. Young people
love hands-on activities like taking a pulse, temperature, or
blood pressure reading. Ask your health care organization to
contribute supplies.
Take
a friend along to help. If you are working with a
group of 6 or more young people, take a friend or two to help
the "hands-on" activities. The more nurses the better.
Your feedback will enable us to know how many
young people you are reaching and the number of Ambassadors using
the presentation tools. Please take a moment to complete this Stats
and Facts Form each time you speak to a group of young people.
If you know the demographics of your audience, complete and submit
the Stats and Facts Form
in advance of your presentation. If not, complete and submit this
form after your presentation.
To help you be an Ambassador for Nursing, we have

have access to a computer for your presentation, we recommend an
overhead transparency presentation, or you could make photocopies
for distribution.
