Clinical Lab Scientists, also called Medical Lab Technologists, examine body fluids, tissues, and cells for bacteria, parasites, or other microorganisms. They also analyze the chemical content of fluids, match blood types for transfusions, and prepare vaccines and serums. This job entails orchestrating tests and lab equipment, such as microscopes, cell counters and other computerized machinery.
