Physical Therapy Assistants help patients regain or learn movement after injury or disability. They assist the Physical Therapist in leading patients in exercises and administer therapy such as heat, light and ultrasound treatments or massage. In addition to helping patients learn about exercises and equipment, Physical Therapist Assistants are key motivators in a patient’s recovery.
